While the name Creative Homes may sound more akin to a builder or renovator, when deciding on a name for the company, there was only one choice for Jim. You could say it’s in his blood. Back in the 80s when the real estate bubble popped, Jim’s father was anything if resourceful. He had many different business ventures, Creative (Painting), Creative (Roofing), Creative (Construction), etc. When Jim teased his dad about it he stated,
“I don’t have to remember a bunch of different company names and when they call I just say ‘Hello, Creative,’ and they tell me what they’re looking for.”
After more than 15 years in real estate, Jim began to see a need in the market. A need for people to have a choice when it comes to selling their homes easily and quickly. A choice people could trust, who they could count on to give them a good deal, who wasn’t just a large corporation thinking about their own bottom line. So, he started a company that would do just that. And when it came time for him to come up with a name, the choice was easy.
